Well I never really thought of ghosts until a few years back and ever since that moment I truly began to doubt myself when I say they are not real. Here is my story and it still amazes me after all these years.
About 6 or 7 years back I used to live in this older duplex, this duplex had supposably been around for years, ever since the last world war, the place was updated and redone and it was not a run down old shack, anyway one night while I layed down to go to bed I got a chill down my spine, you know the feeling it almost felt like there was a cool breeze that hit me, but no windows were open.
Anyway I fell asleep around 11pm or so and during the night I woke up, I do not know why but I just woke up and only a few short seconds after I opened my eyes I heard someone call my name so I rolled over and looked towards my door (I always sleep with my door shut), and the door was open and there was a person standing there but I could not see his/her face it was really dark, then the next thing I knew the figure was right at the edge of my bed (This happened with a blink of my eye) and the figure raised it's fist and took a swing towards my head.
I quickly turned my head down and covered it with my hands and did not feel anything and when I quickly looked back there was no one there and my door was still open, I did not go back to sleep that night and I know I fell asleep because I went to bed at around 11pm and when this was all over with I remember looking at my clock and it was around 3am.
Anyway a month goes by and I had told my good friend about what had happened and he went blabbing about it to his cuzin that used to live in that house, I was kinda pissed at him for telling her but then she said something very strange, she said that when she was living there she used to hear footsteps up stairs when no one was up there and she said they used to have a crib that would rock when no one was around. This was very strange to me and we both agreed there was something disturbing about that house.
So a few years go by and believe it or not someone else I knew had moved into that exactly same place, I helped him move in and got everything set up and I even stayed over there a few times and did not hear anything until one day when there were about 5 of us in the living room and my friends step mom that also lived there was up stairs.
All of a sudden we hear his step mom scream at the top of her lungs and the 5 of us ran up stairs to see what the hell was wrong, when we got there she was freaked right out and she was crying her eyes out, we asked what had happened and she said that when she went to get up into the attick and there was a man up there but she could not see his face and she said the man screamed at her to get the F&*# out of his house and she said that he took a swing at her and at that moment she got the heck out of there. (The five of us had a good look in the attick but there was no one up there).
She described this man exactly like the one that I had seen in my room several years before, this got me very freaked out because I know for a fact that she nor anyone else in that room had heard my experince with this house. After that I never again set foot in that house and I've never had another encounter that close before.
But I sometimes do still get that chill in the spine like someone is there and it freaks the living hell out of me.

That's a little strange to read, as I just got done watching a movie "the possession of emily rose" which is said to be based on fact, and in the movie, she was always harassed at 3 a.m and others in the movie too. and the priest explained it is the opposite of 3 pm when christ was crucified (which overcame the grave for humanity) so this is the hour they like as an insult and opposite / opposition to him..

I have never experienced the presence of a ghost. I am not saying that I dont believe. My cousin has had a few experiences, My grandmother passed away last June, she moved into her house months later. She has on ocassion walked down the hall and smelt her perfume. On ocassion when sitting on the couch watching tv she has felt someone stroking her hair. I have heard that the old come back to stroke your hair.

I have never seen one but my neices and my sister in-law and another lady said there was a ghost in the house they used to live in. they said it was a little blonde girl and she ran upstairs so they followed her to see where she went and when they ran up there no one was there...
usually I would say someone telling me that kind of thing would be full of crap but I have never known these people to lie. and they have no reason to.. I have spent many nights in that house and never seen anything, and I am very glad I didnt lol... they never even told me about it until after they had moved from the place and if they did I really doubt I would have been staying there with them lol..I am such a chicken.

No. I haven't seen them ever though I consider them. Ghost can be good or evil (as what has been told by my peers). Well, I am strong, my faith is on its peak and nobody could come inside me. Maybe because i never had experienced ghost/s trying to come inside me. But you know what, i still believe that oftentimes, they're just part of our deep imaginations and our minds plays an important role as well.

The first time I saw a ghost was when I was about five years old. It was a full bodied apparition, looked as solid as an actual person. I wasn't alone at the time, and the other girl saw the same thing. It was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen.

I dont really believe in ghost but I had an experience way back college that I can consider I've seen one. Its more like a specter or perhaps a white shadow but I still cannot consider it as a ghost though.

must say this film surprised me. Coming in, I knew nothing about it but the famous clay-forming scene... I didn't know I was in for such a strong experience. This film had me from the first few moments of it. I never lost interest. The plot is so interesting and intriguing, you can't help but watch, often at the very edge of your seat. I will say that I found one twist somewhat predictable, but maybe I've just seen too many later movies before watching this. There is a lot of suspense in this film. When I found that it was directed by a Zucker(yup... Airplane and so forth), I was somewhat doubtful as to any other quality in the film than the humor of it... if you're reading this and you're thinking the same, trust me; he pulls it off. Excellently. There are few, if any, flaws in directing. The writing is solid. At times, there seemed to be a little too much humor and some scenes were maybe a tad long, but apart from that, there was not really anything with this film that was flawed. The score is great. The pacing is incredibly good. The acting is really good all-round. Goldberg provides a lot of comic relief, without being obnoxious. Moore and Swayze have magnificent chemistry, you truly believe them as a couple. The special effects are grand, yet they don't take over the movie. This is driven by the emotions, by how the plot affects these characters. I was completely into this movie all the way. The humor is very good and surprisingly tasteful for the theme. Much of it is derived from the situation of Swayze's character and his interaction with environment and other characters. All in all, just a very impressive film. I recommend this to any fan of drama, romance, comedy, thriller or fantasy, as well as anyone interested in seeing a non-parody Zucker film and fans of the actors. 7/10
