Funny words are often coined to describe / criticize / humiliate other persons or places or products keeping analogy with some other well known thing of having that characteristic.
For example: ‘A boy/girl, who often comes late’ is named ‘Lately’
‘A girl, who is very fat’ is named ‘Elephanta’.
‘A mother, who always fights with neighbors supporting her own children’ is named ‘Fightermom’.
‘A man who is being indirectly asked to go away’ is addressed as ‘Man-go’.

Okay...this is kind of rude, but in my house, "butt water" refers to, well, need I really describe it? If so, it's also known as "the runs", only much, much worse. Usually occurs during a bout of the flu, or after some really bad cooking!
At my mom's place of employment to pull a "Nancy" is a really bad thing...it usually involved NOT using your brain for simple tasks. You know it's bad when your name becomes a verb or adjective and is no longer a title.

Well, the nickname "Weasel_Sponge" is actually part of my husband's nickname, which I came up with to describe him. He is the Weasel-Love-Sponge. Weasel, because he always manages to weasel his way into situations or conversations (don't get me wrong-he's not arrogant or a "know it all", he just loves positive attention and helping people) and the Love-Sponge part, well, he's a love sponge. Again, he's not full of himself, but he was brought-up in a large family, the only boy, with strict, traditional parents. And if you can believe it, he *likes* the Weasel-Love-Sponge moniker.
