yes, it can. but i have virus protection, and it deletes any files with viruses. i have come across a few that have them.

Yes, limewire did gave me computer virus. And there is a lot of virus that you can get in this site. Is there anybody here know other site like limewire with no risk for virus?

I don't think that Limewire will give you a virus, but the stuff that you download from there probably will. As I have an Apple computer it doesn't really effect me and as they have now announced draconian punishments for anyone that downloads any copyright material from P2P sites, I shall be removing the program completely.

not only limewire but almost all download sites that you acquire free has also virus on it which is free...if you use your downloaders with pay, it is absolutely free from virus.
