I love my home, it took us a long time to get it, and all though it is an older house and needs a lot of work, it is ours and it is home.

I do love my home. It is a blessing in my life beyond measure. It just showed up for me one day when I was giving a massage (don't ask). I've been living in this big, funky old 50's house for 6 years paying almost no rent, and enjoying the spetacular view of the mountains and foothills, and all the wildlife that comes peeking in my windows, deer, foxes, coyotes, birds, squirrels, packrats, and the not so welcome skunks, bears and mountain lions. How could anyone not love it?

Well, I like my home. I'm very thankful for it and it has some very nice features. But I don't love it. There are things I wish I could change or have different. We're renting to own, so it's not completely ours just yet. It's a log home.

You cannot call a building home!
Home is something that make u feel warm
Any place in this world where i have my close ones, to share , to care and to bless me with warmth, i will call that home
So yes i love my home and its always home sweet home

I love my home. I'd been here my entire life. I've got no place else to go. It's where i can have solace and sense of security

I don't. We were in a touch situation. Hubby got hired on at a place and we had literally one day to drive here and make contact w/ out Meybohm lady to see the houses she picked out for us. We only had 3 to choose from and none in the country like I so desperately wanted. One house had bars on the window and a little girl's body from 10 yrs ago and had just been found in the area so we passed on that one right quick, the second was really cool though needed some work and the third was so stinking bright w/ aztec colors of yellow, red and orange, I thought I would have a migraine before we left there. We went back to house #2 and though beautiful, like I said needed work. We've been here over a year, I hate neighbors and all the screaming kids and pets around here when I am ill and just want to sleep and the days are nice and I want the house open.grrr
We've also fallen through our 6tf tall deck out back TWICE, they fixed the small are w/ non treated wood and went on about their day, we have a mold smell in here that even burning a really large place of pizza couldn't kill and we have water spot on our ceilings, It's EMBARRASING. Still waiting on all that was promised. Hard to try and keep up a sh##hole.
Sorry for the rant :-)

No, I don't love my home because, it is not where I want to live. But, I love it because I have a roof over my head.
