Do you trust mylot members who claim to be able to provide you with great tips for earning here at myot, when they have scores of 14 or 265, or whatever? I have earnt about forty dolars with no referrals and only 700 odd as my rating. I don't claim to have all the answers, don't claim that I can make a fortune here. I just plod along and write about what interests me, whether as a discussion or a post. Members that are self confessed experts after a week of being a member...no I don't trust them. I think all their tips and advice is merely a way of generating responses to their discussions. There is only one so far that I have read that sounds even remotely feasible. Whats your opinion?

no i don't but with the risk of upseting you,i remember you did that also long time ago when i told you you dissapointed me,and i didnt think you are that type of person..you had a discussion where you said you know great tips for earning more on mylot and people kept asking you the tips but you wouldnt give them...then after a while you started another discussion on the same subject but you posted the so-called tips from the start...well,i guess that was long time ago and you've learned better since then...at least that is my impression

Probably why I don't trust them :P
I never claim to be perfect... Its just starting to annoy me.
At least my tips did come (after everyone stopped being arrogant and I moved them to another discussion) and they were useful-at least they were for me at that time.
Its okay heartonfire, you know I always appreciate your opinion, even when it contradicts my own... and i take on everything you say :D I appreciate your views, your posts and your friendship :D

My opinion is that we are all here to help each other. Now granted there are those that are merely just trying to get some extra points by responding. However, there are those who are truly sincere and are just giving the advice that they were given...just helping one another out. That is what I like about this site. People aren't increadibly selfish...they are helping each other.

Megs, early on I read one of your posts about making the most out of myLot, and the info made sense to me. What bothers me is the person who claims he has made an autoresponder or something that can cause you to make $10 in two hours. He will sell you the product for $10. Needless to say I reported him. I did feel like what you said was valid.

I am excited to earn money with mylot. I am not here to "get Rich" but it would be nice to make some extra money to maybe pay off towards a credit card balance or my mortgage...that is how I look at mylot.

it's very true and this is the basic of myLot. megs85's an experienced and well performed myLot user and senior to us so we should blindly follow the guidelines she presents us! Thank you megs85!

Thanks for the compliments sanmargswaudyog. I dont think you should blindly follow whatever I say though. Plod along at you own pace doing your own thing and you'll get there. Its funny most people think I'm a newbie because of my score. I could have a rating of 10000 in one day if I chose... I'm having more fun, and possibly making more money then many of those with extremely high ratings doing it my way!

LoL megs85 I remember taking tips from you, but the way that I see this topic is there are no experts the only way you can actually make money from mylot is by responding to posts that you feel you are an expert at, take for example myself, I deal with computers, so I reply mainly to computer discussions.

Hi, Off topic but somehow related to this posting on experts:
I will watch your threads. I am no expert at computers, but I do want to learn more and test what I have already learned. Hope you dont mind adding you to my friends list?

How much time do you spend each day to post discussions in myLot, it is not a case of JUST 700 odd rating, it is a MIGHTY 700 RATING.
It is not the best idea to distrust everyone. Have you been doing so, you may not come and join myLot. Atleast for one time, you had to trust someone.
That's my views.

Why not trust if this is true? I have earning in my activities here. Discussions or making comments to topics of members that interest me makes me enjoy mylot community also.

Even I don't... I think that each and every member has his own theory but I have my own. I just follow what I feel... I start few discussion which comes on my mind and respond to the topics which I find it appropriate... I am just sticking to the basic rules of the mylot..

They are just telling what good it has done for them and what has worked or what they think works.

Momma always said, ya can't trust anyone but yourself.
I trust a few more then that, but no one I don't really know.

I will listen to anyone that gives me advice but if they tell me to do things that are against the MyLot rules and regulations then I would not trust them. :-) That would be the only reason for me to not trust someone on Mylot. Fortunately I have only met really good and wonderful people have been very helpful to me.

I feel what you are saying is completely true and i do not get carried away by so called peoples who say they have made 350 responses in a day but do not get enough paid, this is simply bcos they write single line meaningless responses or a simple yes/no. i try my best to cinvey my views on any response
