I love this movie but I still have some questions about it. Was the main character really an insurance adjuster, or was her really Sammy Jankis? If you haven't seen it, DO. It's the screw with your head kind and raises questions about reality, what we beleive to be real, etc

Yeah, right! That was a perfect idea to give us the view of the main character, so we could develop the story with the eyes of the character.

Memento is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Very clever plot with a proper narrative. It is a very good movie if you want to see something that will make you think. I've been under Memento's impression for several weeks after I've watched it!

I'm pretty sure he was both. From what I can piece together, but I could be wrong because it's been awhile, him and his wife did get attacked. Then he killed her by accident because of his memory problems. The last memory he has IS of him and his wife getting attacked, so he thinks she was killed there. The second guy there is his alter ego - Sammy Jenkins (so there was no other guy). He has created that story because the guilt weighs so heavily on him and he doesn't want to believe it was him because his not remembering is a mental, not physical, problem.

If you watch the film closely , it is evident that he is a bit of both . He has a dual personality , imbibing points from both the storylines ..

I think it was really good. Confusing but really good! I don't think I was able to figure it out. It kept going back and forth too much, for me. But I liked the movie for that!
