travelling in UK with its historical treasure of culture & how to minimise cost

gonna be traveling to london, wales & scotland, with a wish to travel with a minimum cost, which is the cheapest mode of travel as i have almost 15 days to see all of england & whether i can apply for a tourist visa from england to france as i am an indian national, is it allowed or not

Youth hosytels are cheap to stay in, if you buy rail tickets in advance they are cheaper too

cheapest way of travelling is on the bus but also least comfortable. Very cheap flights can be purchased on ryanair.com and other websites. Try and look up hostels but it's entering their busy periods now which is more expensive to sleep. Should be ok with an EU tourist visa...
