If you are a mom how early did you feel your baby move? I felt a little fluttering at 14 weeks, but see I found out I am having twins. But at 17 weeks I could feel a little kick from one and at 18 weeks I felt the other ones little kicks. Should we feel this every day at this stage of the pregnancy? Because somtimes I'm not sure if I feel them eavry day. Just a little worried. first twins for me or even in my family side. So it is all new to me. and still a shock. I am 4 months now and feel like I am 6 months to 7 months. thanks for reading.

That is so fun for you to have twins and to start feeling them kick! Those are some wonderful feelings! I didn't start feeling my baby until about 20 weeks (maybe sooner but I didn't know it was her) They say you should feel them everyday, but when you doing things like eating or watching TV where you are distracted you might not realize that they are moving. I'm sure everything is fine! If it will set you at ease at Target you can buy a thing to listen to the baby's heart beat. When I was about 7 months along I bought one because I was always worried to. Sometimes I could find the heartbeat and sometimes I couldn't (which scared me) So maybe it isn't a great idea. I'm sure things are fine! My doctor always told me if I was worried about it to eat a cookie or something and in about 15 minutes the sugar should reach the baby and then you'll feel them move!! lol Good luck!

Ya! I'm still in shock. I guess I worry so much because they are twins. You hear all the sad stories of twin pregnancy. I love to feel them move. I do try to sit and just try to feel them move. But I will try that bag of cookies, lol. That would be my excuse to eat sweets. lol. I did think about buying that thing to listen to there heart beats. But you know at 15 weeks three nurses could not find one of there heart beat, and it's there thing. The next three days they sent me to do another ultra sound to make sure they found it. But do you know how worried I was those three days. i don't think I can do better. When they did'nt hear one. Then I will worry even more if i can't find there heart beat. I guess I better keep cool, eat healthy and do the best I can to keep them inside because for twin pregnancy that is one of the biggest worries and God will take care of them for me. thanks for writing

Congrats on your twins. I felt the same way when I found out I was pregnant with twins, I had to ask the nurse three times what she said lol. It is not uncommon not to feel the babies move every day, if you are being active, or doing something, you might not feel the slight flutters. Now in a bit longer, when they start growing and getting in each others way, you probably will feel them every day, as they will be stronger.

They are 5, and even though I thought they would never come out and I would be a beached whale before they were born, I can't imagine them not being in my life. A little advice for after they are born, take things one day at a time. It is going to feel overwhelming at first, but you will get on a schedule, you will find ways to do things you didn't think was possible with only two hands. Don't stress out, just remember, that it WILL get easier.

First I must say congrats, that's great, I first felt my baby move, the first one at sixteen weeks, it was like a little flutter, then for days I didn't feel anything again, and then it started happening on a regular basis. The second baby I felt at about eighteen weeks.

Babies move different amounts, just like big people.
My son moved around so much I used to tell people that he kicked his dad out of bed at night.
He is now 26 years old and is very into sports and always has been.
My daughter would just rollover to get comfortable and then stop. I guess she was very content. Anyhow she would kick, kick roll over and stop.
I can't remember when I first felt either of them but I am sure I felt my son sooner and more often. He would kick so hard that I thought I would be black and blur on the outside.
I don't think weight plays a big part in how soon you feel your baby move. You will feel it more in the early stages if you are lying down and paying attention. The size of your tummy will not prevent you from feeling your baby. Your Baby is stretching out your Uterus and so it will fit Him or Her perfectly.
You will know for sure and there will be no mistaking it in the later stages of your pregnancy.
It is the most exciting, hope-full feeling that this little miracle is growing inside of you. Be nice to your self. You are growing your baby and that is the most important thing you can do at this time.
God Bless You,;-)

With my first pregnancy it wasn't until I was about 20 weeks. With the second pregnancy, I was expecting twins and I started feeling the flutters as early as 8 weeks. It's not unusual to feel the babies earlier when you're expecting twins, and especially if it's not your first pregnancy.
Of course you worry about your babies - that's a normal part of any pregnancy. Apart from being bigger, I was always nauseaous - throughout the pregnancy. At this stage it's probably not a problem, but in a few weeks, as they get less room to move around, you'll feel them more and more.
Good luck with the pregnancy.

Hi.
I started to feel my baby kick in the very beginning of my 13th week. I too felt a little flutter; it was on my left side. That is the coolest feeling too, isn't it? I'm not too sure about twins(I should ask my husband, he has a boy and girl twins from his first marriage) when it comes to how often they should be kicking. My daughter kicked me alot, or sometimes not very much at all. Just ask your doc. Congratulations on carrying twins!

I think it is normal to not feel the baby so much this early in your pregnancy, but I might be wrong. A really good question site to ask this question is wondir.com or yahoo questions. They seem to get a lot of parents on these sites. I would defently call your OB or midwife and see what they say. Good luck with your pregnancy.

CONGRATULATIONS!
With my first son, I felt him move at 16 weeks, which is quite normal for a first pregnancy. Then with my secong baby, I could feel some movement from 12 weeks already. This is because we already know what to look out for and how it feels.

Good luck on those twins. By the time you make about 5 months you should be nice and miserable, trust me. Do you know what they are yet? I've got a boy and girl, 1yr old and I tell you that was the most miserable pregnancy ever. If you're just feeling them kick, you're lucky. Pretty soon they won't stop. One will be stretching 1 way and at the same time the other will be stretching the opposite way, you'll see. But they're great once they are born. It's an experience that not many people get to experience. 2 babies at one time, It truley is a challenge but it's well worth it. Do you have any other kids? I do. I have 6 total, the twins being my last. 4 girls and 2 boys. Anyway good luck and I hope I was of a little help for you!!!! Oh Yeah, CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt my baby's first kick by the 20th or so weeks. I felt as if I am having a hiccup inside my tummy ... the sensation is funny tho. I also felt like my baby is swimming there. And when there are no kicks or swimming moves, I assumed that my baby is asleep or is busy eating :P
Btw, I am on my 6th month of pregnancy and I can't wait to see and to be able to play with my baby.

i already feel my baby when i was 4 mos pregnant. But before then, i was so scared that i can't feel her inside me and I ask my OB why is that and she said the babies inside the womb usually move on the 6th mo. I was relief then. Right now, I am 6 mos pregnant and My God my baby moves a lot.
