I love the old show of Annie but the New Movie SUX and it is sooooo different that I just can't watch it again after watching it just once, I am talking about the DVD Version of Annie from in NEW ZEALAND. Everything you could possibly think of that could have changed has sooooo changed but they are basically the same people and stuff but just look like way different people acting for the people that were.

annie - Part of the cover on the vhs tape I borrowed from the library.
I watched the original Annie when I was young. I loved the movie. I tend to sing the song The sun will come out tomorrow... all the time. I sing it so much that my 6 year old daughter asked me to teach it to her. I did but found out recently that a few of the lines were wrong but hey I did pretty good seeing as I only watched the movie maybe twice when I was young and I am 27 now. I was at the library the other day and saw The movie annie was there. I borrowed it for my daughter and son to watch. My daughter has watched it probably 3 times in a week. It was so cute this morning because when my son wanted to get out of his crib I brought him into my bed and I told him he had to be quiet so he quietly sings the sun will come out tomorrow... when my daughter told him to stop and he said I'm not talking I'm singing to myself. I told him that he did a great job but that he had to be quiet lol.

I love the first copy of the Annie Video/DVD, but when I watched the 2nd Version of Annie Video/DVD I was like wowsers I don't really think anything much about that copy of this Movie. It's not got the same people in it, the kids and parents are like different or kind of different so I don't really like it at all.

which Annie are you talking about? The musical from 1982 with Albert Finney, or the one from 1999 with Kathy Bates and Alan Cumming? I prefer the 1982 one overall, except for the Easy Street number. That, with Alan Cumming and Kristen Chenowith was a great song!
