Bratz Dolls- Do you think they are appropriate for kids?

Do you think Bratz dolls are appropriate kids' gifts? To me it encourages girls to dress like hoes and for boys to be attracted to the girls that dress like hoes. Might make both think that this is the "normal way to dress". What do you all think?

i am so glad oyu sked, I think they are so innapropriate!!! i heard to day that their sales are beating Barbie as the number one doll this christmas!!! WEhat is the world coming to!!! I don't know much about them and their show but the name does not do them any favours iun my eyes!!! The way they dress is also amess,t heya re so materialistic and shallow as well!!! I MEAN BASICALLY WHEN i WAS LITTLE i LOOKE DUP TO MY cINDY DOLL AND BARBIE AND BARBIE and remeber wanting to be like them when I grew up, so now the bratz generation is wantingto emulate them, we will have a whole generation of whhore little girls!!! Yo are right to think it will affect the girls, i am just shocked that parents go out and buy these dolls for their little girlss, it's shameful, i wouldn't do it if I had a daughter!!!!! There is nothing normal about it at all!!!!

Hey, just go out to the mall on a Saturday night, you will see the kids trying to look just like them. Sad thing is it's the very young ones, probably sneaking things like makeup and their outfits out of the house and changing. It definitely is the wrong form of role model.

well, all of you, if you think looking good and attractive, wearing nice clothes and make up makes everyone look bad, then you never tried yourself and you probably have some kind of complex of your body or actually not right kind of body for such an outfits. And actually probably just angry that others can. Wearing something doesn't make you the one. And it every girl dream to look like models and wear such outfits, which their moms can not buy them!

Beautiful and skanky are too completely different things. As a mom you can encourage your daughter to look beautiful, but if you let them think bratz dolls are "beautiful" your daughter will look skanky.

I do not agree.I think it is okay for a kid to have a bratz doll it is just a doll if that was the case then any kids toy would not be appropriate.my kids like bratz dolls and i do not see anything wrong with them myself they may dress a little weird but they are dolls does not mean i would allow my kids to dress like that.
