What Do You Do With Your Clothes You No Longer Wants

i have this habit of wearing some of the clothes once or twice only...as i will keep on wearing my favourite clothes again and again...and after some time, i will consider giving it to my mom's friends if they want as it still look pretty new.

We bag them up if they are still worth anything and drop them in the Salvation Army box in the parking lot of WalMart. We don't have to travel far and they go to a good cause. If we don't need them anymore or my kids have grown out of them...AND they can not be passed down to another child (I have seven children so hand me downs are not uncommon in this house), then we donate them. :) I do not know of any homeless shelters in my little bitty town. So the Salvation Army is the closest thing.

There is a donation center just a mile or so from my home, I usually drop them there. I do occasionally use freecycle, but it can be a hassle to coordinate pickup places and times.

I sometimes want to give my clothes out to my friends but they all wear a way bigger sizes than mine so it just can't happening..lol so I usually take it to the thrift store or used clothing store.

I have a yard sale first then anything I dont want I put out for free. Whatever is left I take to this place that you can drop off clothes and household items whatever and get whatever free stuff you want as well. Its awesome. I've gotten my kids and I so many clothes. I am debating on what to do with my childrens baby clothes that I packed away. If I sell them now I might make a little extra money which is really important since I am a single mom but then again what happens if I accidently get pregnant and have to start all over again. I wont have all those clothes to fall back on. So I'm kind of torn on what to do. If I get rid of all the baby clothes then I will have a lot more room in my closet and in my cellar.

i embelish them. i have beads and laces in my cabinet.=) and when sometime i got nothing to do and do wanna dispose that particular thing. sometimes i get ideas from a television shows [familiar..=)] or from other clothes i have or from the malls i saw a particular design. if and when i've got really nothing to revive to it, i give it to my neice.=D

I give it away to the charities.And I dont use my clothes till they become rags.

My unwanted (not always used) clothing goes to a local women's shelter that helps women get back into the workplace. If another organization comes around asking for used clothing and I have some available, I'll give it to them. They're all reputable and help women that really need some decent clothing.

I don't really have any clothing to give away anymore now that I am older. Last year I went through everything and gave a bunch of stuff to a battered women shelter. I usually give my husband old clothing to my younger brother or his younger brothers. My childrens stuff I usually give away to relatives with younger cousins or friends with younger children.

give them for charity, of course!

My family and I usually keep old clothes in one place and when there are people passing by asking for clothes because their house got caught in a fire or any other calamities we give it to them. Other clothes we give to Veritas for their distribution to calamity areas.

I let my sons have them or give them away to charity.

i usually post them on freecycle for someone who could put some good use to them.

We pass them to family members if someone like it or relatives but if not we will donate it to people who are victims of casualties and to homeless people.
