I think Alonso is the only pilot among the ones that are still active nowadays that has proven that he is a real champion.
It's incredible how british media try hard to focus on Button, Hamilton, Raikkonen last year.....all but Alonso, who has proven to be way better than all of them so far.
If this year one of the other pilots shows that he's a true champion i will be the first to clap...but someone here tell me ONE reason for considering kimi more favourite than alonso...
Alonso will win the championship no doubt unless McLaren doesn't provide him a decent car. If cars are similar, Alonso will win. He makes less mistakes than the rest and he's the fastest, along with Raikonen.

I disagree. Raikkonen is far faster and talented and ready to take risks than Alonso. If you calculate the points that he lost by mechanical failures, you can see that Alonso wouldn't have become world champion in 2005. Raikkonen is going to be champion this year, there is no question in my mind.

Do you think that Alonso is a double winner because raikonen was unlucky with his engines? and why has fisichella broken more engines while sharing team with Alonso?
I know raikonen is good, but what has he proven so far? it's unfair to say he's slower than alonso...what are you basing yourself on?

Mass? No way. When Raikkonen is around I dont think Massa will be able to perform that well. dont forget that Alonso is still there. I think Mclaren will offer a surprise package this year to retain the world title for Alonso.
thanks for the response zee
