Do you believe in cropping a dogs ears?

I dont like it I know it is done but I had a Minpin as well and his was already done so I was like ok But I have a male Boxer and his ears were not cropped and I never cropped them I think it is sad..

i have never heard of people cropping a dog's ears. i have heard of croppin dog tails...but i never did that to my dogs. i think it hurts em and i wouldn't wanna hurt em. why do they crop off the ears though?

i really dont, i had a pit bull that we did not crop the ears, i know that a lot of people do it but i just didnt want to.

I don't think I could put my dog through that. If I adopt him from somewhere and they are already cropped then that is okay though.

I don't know who's bright idea it was to crop a dogs ears or thier tails. Its cruel and is really painful for the animals. We had a pincher and his ears were floppy but his tail had been done. Who ever did it, didnt' do it right and it was infected when we got him. I would never do it. I just love dogs.

I think it is horrible to do. My mother in law did it to her dogs and I felt so bad for those things. but I guess it is not different then us getting a tummy tuck or something like that.

I know it is a common practice just like cutting off the tail. If you are ever at the vet and hear these little guys scream in pain you'll never want to do it again. My heart goes out to any living being, human or animal, if they are in pain. I don't think we should cause undue pain, I certainly would not want somebody to do me that way without my permission.
