I am trying to lose weight. My problem seems to be my appetite. It seems to be really big. In the past, I have eaten when I'd become bored or upset. I have pretty much got that part under control, not often, but at times find myself doing that again. When I realize I'm doing it for those reasons I get up and find something to do. It seems like I need a strong appetite suppresant. I also would like my metabolism to speed up. I'm very overweight and sometimes I do about 20 minutes of exercise and I get out of breath. It takes me a while to slow my breathing down. I continue to exercise because I really want to lose the weight. What diet pills have you tried that helped curb your appetite? Are there any other suggestions to help me lose the weight?

i've tried every possible way of losing weight, exercise, diet and pills. i've tried lots of unprescribed diet pills even though i know that it can get me sick. for other readers, if you've never been fat your whole life and never have to ask for bigger sizes on clothes that you want and found it they don't have it..please don't make rude or nasty postings because it doesn't help. please don't post " ilove myself" or "i love the way i look" or "you should be happy with how you look", because bottom line is, you don't have any idea how we feel and probably never will. anyway with the diet pills, if you've heard about xenical it will help you alhtough the process is a little bit messy. you'll have frequent trips to the bathroom. for other products in the markets like those in the magazines, it will cause your heartbeat to go wild. i've tried what they call "bangkok pills" 10 lbs. in 5 days, but i felt so weak and tired plus i experienced loss of breat and palpitations. I haven't tried hoodia, but i heard from my friends that it works. you'll never feel hungry. try do a little research first if i were you. good luck!

I would not recommend any diet pills. What I would suggest is work out more. What type of exercise do you do? To lose weight and burn fat (so that you would eventually end up thin), is by doing faburning exercise. And fat-burning exxercise would not make you run out of breath. All you need to do is walk! Walk-walk-walk.. the more you walk, the more fat you would burn.
Try this - leisure walk for 30 minutes for 1st week. Then after that increase walking duration in increments of 10 minutes every 2-3 days. When you can already walk (leisurely) for 1 hour, what you need to do next is speed it up a little..
After about a month, you should be able to walk at normal pace for 1 hour. Maintain it and you would notice weight loss. As for diet, cut down on oil, eat more vegetables. By doing this, you would see the weight loss at a greater pace.
Good luck :)

Many had already said something about how good Hoodia is. I won't affirm their testimonies but I know of people who tried Hoodia and it worked for them. And according to my readings, hoodia liquid is more potent than pills or caps because your body tends to absorb the liquid more than those in solid form.

It is true that many diet pills are dangerous and addictive. However, Hoodia Gordonii, which is an all-natural appetite suppressant, is safe (no known side-effects) and effective. The worst thing about it is that it is expensive, but it's worth it to me because I find it to be effective. You do still have to decrease your calories and increase your activity and exercise.

You should be very careful about taking diet pills, whether they are "so called" natural with no known side effects or prescription. One of those natural ones has done permanent damage to my health and I do not trust any of them now, especially when they say no know bad side effects. By the time they find out there are side effects, it will be too late. It is better to just go the Weight Watchers way or some healthy kind of lifestyle change in the types of foods that you eat. Eat small portions and eat healthy snacks between meals.

I sit at a computer all day and I get bored alot and actually eat a whole lot more than I should, but when I went on a 3 day leadership course with intense exercising I found I just wasn't hungry as much and really couldn't finish eating what I started. It is because it gets your mind off hunger, and a diet pill does the exact same thing, but my advice to you is everytime you feel bored or depressed, go exercise. Go for a run or if you feel that is not within your physical limitations then go for a walk, maybe start at your local gym. If it is the case though that you still feel hungry, eat alot of salad and fruit. When I am bored and hungry I might eat 3 apples, but its still healthy. I don't think diet pills are the answer, and they are quite a drastic measure if you think about it. If you feel you need diet pills then go ask your local doctor for a good brand.

There a loads of products on the market, but I don't have experience of using them myself. However, listening to friends and family talk I am not so sure if these pills are the answer. I would suggest you see a dietician, she will work out an eating plan for you. My brother has been seeing a dietician for about 3 months now and the weight has come down lovely. All the best!

Ask your doctor about Orlstat it is the only fat blocker with FDA approval at this time. The parent company which produces Orlstat hopes to come out with an over the counter version within the next year. The trade name it will be sold under is proposed to be Alli.
Since you mentioned that 20 minutes of exercise leaves you breathless I suggest you exercise in 10-15 increments several times per day. It could be your choice of exercise is too vigorous for you at this time.
Here is a site that can help you with an exercise program to fit you.

For loosing weight the best solution is to walk. You should have a daily walk of about 1 to 2 hours. Also keep your diet light.Use more fruits and green vegitables in your diet. Also use garlic in your food it helps to reduce fat. Also in the morning take one glass of warm water put one spoon of honey and half a lemon in it and drink every day. These are some of the home made methods for reducing weight and they are effective. Also dont try to reduce weight drastically as it has bad effect on our body.Perform exercise everyday reguarly and your will become slim and trim.Best of Luck.

I have investigated and researched the supplement Hoodia Gordonii extensively. I began taking it almost 2 weeks ago, and I am amazed by the results- I am usually a skeptic, and did not expect it to work. It is a natural appetite suppressant, and it really does work to decrease your appetite so that you can stick to your plan.
I have a lot of good information posted on my blog- you have to be careful to buy the real thing, not one of the many fake products out there. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it.
