I was wondering what should I do. This job doesn't start until January 5 and is full time work. The plus side of this job is it would be easier to do then the other work that I normally do. The problem is that I would be makeing a lot lower wage then I need to live on, but it is a job. I have also applied at some other jobs that pay a lot better, but haven't heard back from them yet. The jobs that pay better will be harder on me phyically. What would you do in my situation. Thanks for listening.

I say keep applying and if you think this job is your absolute best option for now, take it with the intent to keep looking for a better job. I do beleive there are more iportant tnings than money, but we all know minimum wage is close to poverty level in a lot of communities. So, if you keep looking you may find a job that will help you lead a better lifestyle.

I will grab the present job and wait for some better opportunity by applying in few other organisation. You should grab this job because it can give you a better experience.

I think I would take the job just to make some money (Some money is better than no money!) but I would continue looking for a new job as well. If you can't afford to live off the money you are making at the job, you obviously won't be able to keep it for long!

You should take this one, but keep looking. It's better to have some income than none at all, good luck.

You should take the minimum wage job. There's nothing stopping you from looking for a better paying job. I'd feel that any job is better than no job.

I would never accept a job that didn't make me enough money to live on. If you can live on what they are offering then it depends on what is more important to you, the money, how physical the job is or how much you enjoy the job.
If you need a job right away then minimum wage is better than nothing but I would keep looking for a job that pays what you need.

My opinion I think you take the job if you dont have a job right now.I know it doesn't pay much but it beats a blank.Still be looking and dont give up for higher pay tho.I wish you much luck.Take care!!!

If it is what you think be confortable on you then do it. But if you want a higher pay you must sacrifice.

No one can really tell you what to do, but balance the pro & cons of the situation.
As crazy as it sounds I have found an employer finds you more attractive (as an employee) when you are already working than unemployed. Of course you should never take a job that you cannot survive on the wages.
Pro - easier job to do
Con - Lower wages
your choice let us know how you go.

I think you should take it if you don't have a job, if you already have a job ans it's paying better it would nt make sense for you to be getting paid less, you need to evaluate the situation and talk to your family and see which choice will be better for yourself and your family.

I would suggest to take the job ..FOR NOW. In the meantime, keep applying to other jobs and once you hear back from a better paying job, try to set up an interview during your lunch break or time off. Also, if this mimimum wage job would be something that you truly enjoy doing, then in time the pay may go up, and in the meantime you do not have to worry about this one being as physically demanding as the other one. Good Luck!

If you feel that you would be happier making less money, take it. Especially if its easier on you. Thats like me. I am working at home during web design. Its a struggle right now but its what I want to do. Money is not great right now but I am happy and thats the important thing. So just think about that.
