but what about places like Andorra, roxborough(for the most part), chestnut hill and east falls? and thats only Northwest Philly. all cities have their bad parts but the good outways the bad in terms of dirtyness. for the most part, the good outways the bad

Many would argue jersey isn't exactly pretty, powerplants & all. There's a reason why everyone makes fun of it. Now like everyone said, it has its bad parts & not that pretty, but its also not that bad. I'm not a fan of philly but I wouldn't say its ALL dirty. I live in south philly which does have a dirty vibe about it but thats due to the people not respecting the earth & their neighborhood.

you have got to be kidding. there are so many areas in philly that are gorgeous! new jersey didn't earn the nickname "dirty jersey" for no reason. a lot of the historic places in philly add to it's charm.

I think that New York is dirty and smelly. I never been in Philadelphia, but can not imagine city wirst than NY.

You cant be serious. Philadelphia is not the most beautiful place in the world but its not that bad. The city is really trying to clean Philadelphia up and I've seen way worst places. There are so many new projects going on in Philly right now maybe you can't see it yet but give it a couple years.
