Christmas Cards; waste of money?

Fair enough, they’re really nice to stick up some-where but at the end of the day someone’s forked out for an over-priced piece of card.
I don’t send cards, I’ll be there in person. If there is someone I can’t, I’ll buy cardboard and create a card, which if you have children (I have nephews) is a lot more enjoyable to create and more of a pleasure to receive.

We can create something from recycled stuff. We have to be imaginative and create the best card. It's the thought that counts more often and not how pricey your card be.

I send out Christmas cards to friends from college who I won't be able to see for the holidays or can't get gifts for, so it's like the card is the gift cause I add in a personal little note to each one.

Good, but if others keep a different view, what is the problem? In any case, it is a big industry today. Lots of people earn bread through this industry.

Yeah,I guess,I 'd diy the card rather than buy one,It's just meaningless.I remember I gave a x'mas card with my images on the front, to my grandma and she love it,and she framed the card.

I never send cards. I feel bad that people send me any. They just get tossed anyways. Waste of money IMO.
