Piano,playing.

He must be gifted, why don't you ask your eldest son to teach you!

I had years of piano lessons as a kid. I got to where I could play fairly well. Since then I've seldom even thought about playing even though I have a piano in my living room. Maybe one of these days I'll have time to sit down and recapture some of what I used to know. Since I can read music well, I should be able to learn again.

I cant play the piano,but always wanted to learn how.I can play the clarinet and all three of my kids can play the violin

My eldest daughter learned to play piano by ear. Eventually I was able to get her a scholarship for lessons. She picked it up quickly. Now she is able to play just about any instrument. Her rheumatoid arthritis hinders her playing. She once played the clarinet so beautifully and now her fingers just won't move the way they once did. Her voice is her best instrument. She sings so well.

I am not musically gifted at all, I often wished I was, I did Learn how to play greensleeves on the piano when I was very young.

I play piano "by ear". I know a little music but I don't use reading music much. I just play how it sounds. I also play the organ, accordion, and of course, the keyboard. I don't play really often these days, but if I am feeling down it is a way to express myself and get out of the doldrums. I enjoy making up music as I play it also. Sometimes I just start playing an let my fingers and my mood decide what to play. I should record it, I suppose, but I don't. I would say your son is probably gifted.

When I was pregnant, I decided to learn how to play. So, my husband bought me the learning book, but I only got half way. I didn't want to memorize the notes. I just though it was too much. But, I'll do it again someday.

I can play the piano. I started taking lessons even before I had a piano - I used to practice on the table :P I took piano all through school and really loved it :) Why not ask your son to teach you how to play...

I don't know how to play the piano but I've always wanted to learn. I bought a guitar a while back and tried to teach myself but gave up after a while.

My son plays the piano. He is really good at music. I am amazed at his talent because the only thing I can play is a stereo or a radio.:)
