cordless phone cannot work when out of power, we try b4, so we have a corded phone in case of need.....

But want to know why I kept mine???
When the power goes off, you can still use them..
CORDED ONES... It is a Back up plan of mine...
Candles too, don't forget them...

You really should keep a corded phone in the house. Especially if you don't have a cell phone. When the power goes out you'll be thankful that you have it.

i have both, our power goes out alot when theres storms and i need to have a phone in case something happens when the power is out.

Corded and cordless here. We use the corded phone for private transactions, like giving passwords or private information.
