firstly i thought this is a silly test and when i saw the words i was thinking they are so easy,i will do great..well,it wasn't like that at all,i misspelled 15 out of 50 words lol..and there were common words,i think i guessed the other ones hehe

Spelling really matters even if some people say that it does not matter. If you commit mistakes in spelling it shows that you are not good in English or in grammar. Anyway we are not in school and it's the thought expressed which is important here. So just go ahead shout what's in your mind and people may learn from them.

I have 2 out 50 words spelled incorrectly. Its the broccoli and vicious. It's fun and can enhance our spelling ability and grammar as well. Thanks for sharing the link with us. Whenever im bored i'll use this site.

I only got 8 of them wrong. Thats not too bad considering there were a few of them that I didn't even know what the word was.

I got 'harass' wrong (I thought it had two 'r's!) I am in good company, though, over half of respondents also got it wrong! There were one or two I had to think twice about but I am a 'pattern' speller - I see something wrong with the way the word looks and THEN have to look to find what is wrong!
Not everybody's mind works that way and that is one reason why some people are hopeless spellers and others not. Everyone has to find their own way of dealing with the problem of spelling and for some (often very intelligent) people it is a lot harder than for others.

I'm not really good in splling, so I don't want to make a fool out of myself. But, I'll look at it, thanks for sharing it.
