Babies can remember sounds they heard in the womb more than a year after birth, a study has found.
The research demonstrated that one-year-old babies recognise music they were exposed to up to three months before birth.
i found this while browsing on the net,and it got my interest..i don't remember if i liked a specifical type of music when i was little but when i will be pregnant i will try this hehe

I talked, played classical music and sang to her. I'm not sure if she remembers or not. We'll ask when she turns one or something.

Yeah! I've gotten the Baby Mozart and Baby Beethoven cd's for my friends who were having kids. You know? I've never asked them whether they tried it or not! But here's one for you... My reverend heard the same thing about how babies hear things when they're still in the womb, and every day, he would get close to his daughter's tummy and say "HEL-lo!" in a real cute voice and always with the same inflection. After the baby was born, and for months afterward, when she was cranky and wouldn't settle down, he would get close to her and say "HEL-lo!" in the same manner as he did before, and she would be calmed and quiet right away, no fussing! Aloha!!

Yes, I can well believe this theory. I think babies sense a lot before they are born including any tensions or problems in the household or relationship and, of course, love, happiness and good things as well

this means we have to be real carefull with all that even before the baby is born..but it's interesting that we can somehow influence him even before birth
