Is there one particular bill that you fear the most or hate getting the most? Why do you hate that particular bill?

The gas bill. Our heating costs have skyrocketed over the past 1 1/2 years. It is absolutely outrageous. And where we live you have to have heat, it's not an option. I do keep it down as far as I can without having the kids get sick. I just hate seeing that bill come every month.

This would have to be the Council Tax, which is payment to provide services such as refuge removal and street maintenance etcetera.
I appreciate the need to provide such services and that they have to be financed in order to be provided, but the level of dissatisfaction that accompanies much of the service really makes me begrudge an annual bill of around £800.

Property taxes 2 times a year, the gas bill in the winter, the electric bill in the summer, if the ac has to be used alot. The food bill monthly. I know that is more than one. I forgot the car insurance, house insurance. Oh well I hate them all, LOL.

I don't really fear getting a bill...but I do dislike getting anything bigger than a $20. And that is only because buisnesses do not like to take anything higher than a $20 bill. So, if I go to the bank to get my check cashed, I will be sure to ask them to give me 20 dollar bills of less.

I completely agree with you there too. Our gas bill increased when it was the worst time to increase....we had a blizzard not too long ago and we have been warned on the news that the increase came at the same time. How convenient for the gas company. grrr

The student loan bill. They just won't leave me alone. I only been away from school for a semester and they're already on my behind asking for their money. We can't afford an extra bill right now, but they don't care. They want their money. So, we just pay it off when we can and ignore their phone calls when they call me.

My credit card bill!!!!! *LOL*
My husband pays all the other household bill, so this is prety much the only bill I have to pay. It always feels good to shop & buy, but when the credit card bill arrives, it's always shocking to see the crazy expenses I've incurred...

I was almost going to say the electric bill too but I am on a set budget with them and its the same amount every month. Its just the highest monthly one I have. But the bill I hate the most only comes once a year. Its our school and property tax. Its about $500-600. And we always forget to put money away for it, or if we do put money away, we end up needing the money for something else. And they won't take partial payments, its either all or nothing.

I too hate the electric bill because they raised our rates this past summer by 60% which is a killer so now it is higher than usual.
