This is a 24" copper star, that I made. I wanted to know if anybody knows how much I could sell them for. The ones I sell will not be weathered. this is the URL of the picture. http://ifs1.imagefly.info/v/fb/jpg/coprstar.html

Well, first off, get a picture of the ones you will sell. It's hard to look at something, say, blue, and imagine buying it in red. Second, that picture is a little weird. The top point of the star looks pixelated like it was photoshopped. If you could show us a picture of your actual product it would be easier to give an asessment. That said, I'd recommend going to etsy.com and browsing through the other handmade crafts there to get an idea of what similar products are going for.

Also - if you can make one with 7 points send me a picture of it and I'll probably offer $20 for it plus shipping.

OK thanks for that site. I should be able to make one with 7 points. how wide? 18" would be better for me. I will make it after the new year.

It doesn't really matter to me how wide. Keep me posted, and good luck!

Usually you would take the total it cost you to make the item and then multiply by 2 or 2.5. The star is very pretty and unique and I don't think $20 is too much to ask but if you can make a decent profit for less then you have a better chance of selling them. They also should do good at flea markets. Good luck with your venture.

The material isn't a problem but the time is? Because their layed out by hand. I wish I had heat in the garage! LOL
