You sure do. You have to face the consequence of your actions.

I am not willing to but perhaps I have to because I'm afraid of others' gossips. I'm quite clear of what might happen if I get married just because of pregnancy but I don't want to be a single mother, either. Getting married doesn't necessarily mean misfortune but if I choose to be a single mother I'm sure I will meet a lot of troubles.

I personally would NOT, hence, one of the reasons I am a SINGLE mom...lol....but, I do know that MANY people still do this. I feel that you should NOT get married for that reason because if the relationship is not stable enough to handle marriage, then its going to be a disaster. It will most likely end in divorce, and all parties involved, including the child will be hurt badly. If you just continue to both take part in the life of your child, or continue to live together as a family until the relationship is strong enough, and stable enough, then odds are it will work out a lot better!

My personal feeling is no. If that is the only reason I would not suggest it. The courts are full of cases just like these where people were married just because of an unexpected pregnancy. Marriages have enough turmoil to go through with out that being added and used in the future. i.e. I only married you because you were pregnant. The parties need relationship councelling before doing it. I wish them both well and happiness.
