Yes, you are right. This depends only on his performance. Every one should be getting place on by their performance. No one is excemption from this. This also depends on his performance for the rest of the two matches.

So far so good, he has been able to get into the team and continue to play, until his bad patches starts. Every indian player is plagued by the bad patches which they get it too frequently.
