If Humans are inflicted with asthma, does an animal like dogs have it too?

As what i have observe,my pets got this asthma like symptoms during early morning and also when i use to play with them,they tend to get tired and hardly catch their breath.

of course even dogs would tend to catch thier breath if overexhausted.. hehe but i dnt know if they also get asthma
