What if?

Take a look inside yourself and at those around you. What if an angel did come down like the album "The Lost Christmas Eve" by The Trans-Siberian Orchestra suggests? What would that angel think of you?
How do you know you haven't already come across an angel and offended him/her? I am trying to live my life everyday as though I am being watched and evaluated by angels. If everyone thought there were angels near maybe, just maybe, they would be kinder to neighbors or strangers as one of the songs suggests.
Here is a list of little things you can do to make a little difference in someone (maybe even an angels) day:
Hold the door open for someone
Let someone with fewer items go ahead of you in a store
Smile at someone
Pay for someone's cup of joe
Donate a toy/clothes/money, whatever to help underpriveledged individual
Volunteer time to work on a holiday project
Visit a nursing home, a shut in or just a relative you haven't seen in a long time who would enjoy a visit
This is just a short list of ideas. The world would be a much nicer place if everyone were just a little kinder to each other. Live as though you were living among the angels and you can't go wrong.

My son has the Trans-Siberian Orchestra on CD, and yesterday was the first time I listened to them after hearing about them from your post. What a great musical treat it was! I loved them. It really lifted my mood and made Christmas feel more like it is supposed to. Thank you for opening my eyes.

Amen. I have to agree with you. I too try to live every day as if I am being watched, not only by angels, but by God. It truly is the little things in life that make a difference in the life of others. Sometimes even just a smile can brighten the day of someone you don't know. I believe we should practice these principles everyday of the year, not just at Christmas. Random acts of kindness really do make the world a more joyous place for everyone. Thank you for your beautiful message. I hope more people read it and respond.

i try to ive mylife the same way, a alos pray to god in everything i do.. as far as angels.. i try my best to do good things, i have some people at a local nursing home that i just love to visit,
everytime, i go somewhere and see someone broke
now on the side of the road, i say a prayer that
they will find help soon, and that God will take
care of them and that there wont be much wrong with there car, and so far i have been luckly enough
to not break down on the road as that is a big fear
of mine...
