Don't forget to add Knifty Knitter to your interest lists so we can all share our photos at the top of the page. I just added 2 to get the yarn ball rolling. Some of you have posted them in with your discussions which is fine, but apt to get buried quickly. If you make it an interest, then it will be at the top of the page whenever people come by.

I am working on figuring out how to use my kniffty knitter! LOL. I didn't realize it's like a whole new skill I have to learn. I've been regular knitting and crocheting for so long that I forgot it takes some time to learn new skills. :P
I enjoy my kniffty knitter so far, though.

I'd love to see some of the new projects all of you are talking about. Hopefully they'll be more photos for all of us to see soon. I've finished at least 7 hats. I just need to take photos of them all and put them online.

I am requesting a knifty knitter for my birthday. I am very interested in finding out more about them. Are the free downloadable patterns online?

Great idea, Auburn! I just added it to mine, soon as i get another camera, i'll take some pix of the things I have made so far...i've made a hat for my son, his wife, and 2 children so far for Christmas, and plan on making other things...soon as I get the holidays over with, I'm gonna start on a shawl.

I'm going to take my knifty knitter on the train with me tomorrow and continue working on my red hat.
I'm a little confused with mylot's new policy about only being allowed to upload photos in a thread if your score is above 500. If the threads are less appealing because there are fewer photos, how does that help mylot? Anyway, I was going to post the red hat that I just started but it will have to wait until I have 500 points I guess.

Seems to be a kniffty knitter revolution going on. I know I prefer them to the more traditional style of knitting. right now I'm working on an afghan. I'm trying out some new stitches and I don't like the one I just did so I'm going to tear it out and try another stitch.

I'll have to go and get some. Since I haven't crocheted in awhile I kind of let my yarn stock get low.

That sounds interesting. I never plan to give up traditional knitting, but this is a nice change of pace. I got a lot of compliments on my first hat at work last night. And I started making a red one in Homespun yarn (by Lion). Joanns will have it on sale 2 skeins for $7.00 in their after holiday sale.
So hopefully I can get some more to go with the Knifty Knitter.

Great, I love knifty knitting looms! I have made quite a few newborn hats for expectant mothers and hats for all of my children and some friends. I am working on getting a little more advanced now. I may try a bunny purse for easter.

That looks like loom knitting or a giant knitting nancy. How do you find those, I have trouble getting any speed with them, I'm much faster doing circular knitting on double pointed needles

I just started yesterday, so I can't answer that yet. It seems to be going fairly quickly. Some of the other people on the knifty knitter discussions will probably pop over and answer that better than I can, since they've made a lot more things.
I think it's more of a blessing for people that have given up on traditional knitting.

I just finished my first hat. It is very comfy. I used the green ring. I also let my 11 year old neighbor 'knit' a few rows. She liked it so much and her mom was impressed so I think they are going to get one. I believe this yarn is called Lion Homespun. I have some red too, so I'm going to try that next. Red for the holidays.

I purchased a set a couple years ago - I can bang out a pretty decent scarf or blanket in no time when I use it.
