Thank you for your response to the discussion. Sometimes I do not reach that kind of water drinking. But I will try to do it everyday now that I know that my kidneys need it. Thanks for the information.

yes you should, but keep in mind that everything you drink and eat also has water in it. So if you drink 3 glasses of lemonade (mostly water) only drink 5 or 6 glasses of water.
If you have too many fluids you can actually flush out your system and get sick. Too much of anything is bad and you don't want to wash away all the other nutrients your body needs.
Also, you can drink a little less if you are not that active and should drink a little more if very active.

That sounds reasonable, but I just can insist on it. some days ago, I drank about 2L water a day, but now I just go to drink when I feel thirsty. I think it's really bad because people told me that when u feel thirsty, ur body is lack of water for a long time. so, I wish I can be more persistent in this.

I drink about 15-20 glasses of water everyday. Water is essential for our body. It cleans our body from the inside and prevents a lot diseases before they arise. It keeps our skin young and healthy.

I try to drink water as my liquid as much as possible, or atleast 3 times out of 6....but sometimes I'm just not that thirsty and so therefore I dont force myself to drink 8-10 glasses a day. Dr's have been saying for years this is what is best for your body, I agree, but dont always feel thirsty enough to consume this much...but then there are other days I consume more water or twice as much as I should.

yes, doctors recommend drinking of at least eight glasses in a day, except for those with diseases that require limitations when taking in fluids. generally, though, i believe that water has a lot of healing properties. i drink more than the recommended amount of water when i have UTI, or when i have the flu. water therapy could even aid us if we're on diet.

At least 8 glasses a day is good for you. I am very bad. I'm lucky to have 1 to 4 glasses a day.

Drinking 8 servings of water a day is healthy for you. It flushes out the kidneys and keeps the skin hydrated. I definately feel much better when I consume 8 or more glasses of water a day. When I drink less, my body feels sluggish. My skin gets dry and flaky. My muscles will cramp too.

I don't keep track of how many glasses of water I drink in a day but if we're going to say if I drink 8 - 10 glasses of fluid, well, yeah even more.
Hydrating ourselves is very important also to keep our urinary tract clean of any residue. This makes our urine more diluted, thus, decreasing the risk of having UTI or decreasing the formation of crystals in our urinary tract.
