It is really a fact that womeon love to receive flowers and very few men would give it to them. Sometimes men are shy to give flowers to women.

Thank you for your response to my discussion. I think you would like to consider giving them flowers because I think most women do like to receive flowers from men. They see to find it romantic. Thanks and more power to you!

I don't think "all women" like to receive flowers. That's like saying "all men like to watch sports." LOL I don't like receiving flowers because they will die within a week. I'd rather receive a plant! Luckily my husband knows this! :)

Thank you for responding to the discussion. That is very interesting. But flowers are really meant not to last long. I think that its the thought that counts. Flowers are really very beautiful and for me its so nice to receive flowers from another person. It makes you smile and I think it is very romantic and sweet. Don't you guys think so? God bless to you and good luck!

Whatever it may be, Roses or jasmine women folk like the colorful and good fragrance very interestingly. More over in some countries like India, ceylon, Sigapore girls with long hair use the flowers in their hair as part of ritual and passion.

A rose is a common flower usually given to a romantic loved one. So I guess that's why it is usually given because of its popularity.

It's flattering to be surprised with flowers. However, I'd rather be surprised with something that won't die.

Well maybe you can try giving her a different type of flower which is isn't found in your garden. It might be a nice thing to do considering that she likes flowers and you have a rose garden. Have a nice day and thanks for sharing in the discussion.

Thank you for your response. I too would like to receive flowers, and like the other, for no reason at all.

He not only cares for you he shows you that he wants to make you happy and feel loved by him. People who bring flowers are very romantic. Don't you think so?

Speaking only for myself, yes, I love receiving flowers. My favorite is a single long-stemmed blue rose. I don't want it boxed or wrapped in fancy paper. I just want it as it is, minus the thorns of course. And if ever there's a decoration, maybe just a simple ribbon where a ring is also tied to.:)

I also like blue roses, but it is really very expensive and hard to find. Some are just colored blue roses. But it would be nice to receive them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us on the discussion. Have a nice day!

I like to receive flowers, but I don't like ones bought from a store or florist - I think they are a waste of money! I prefer my husband to pick the flowers himself from the garden (or a local park if he can get away with it - they have much nicer flowers than our garden!)

Well I do hope that he could pick out flowers for you. Well for us that live in the city, we have no choice but to buy them for our special loved ones. If ever that he spends for you just look at it as his love for you. Have a nice day!

I know that flowers can be expensive especially on valentine's day. But if ever you would receive one, just try to appreciate them because the person really must have cared for you to buy them for you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and have a nice day!

When they receive the flowers their first instinct is to smell them. And it would be surely nice if the flowers smelled good. Have a nice day!

flowers have failed me in the past, but it also helped me out a bit.. maybe most women i had gone out with was thinking that it was an easy way out gift from me.. with the standards they impose on nowadays on how they should be special, and things like that. geesh! their just flowers, not a wedding ring or somethin..
