How many of you are experiencing problems in your marriage due to mylot?

Watch out everyone. MyLot is a great site but never meant to destroy marriage or any other relationship. I make sure that my wife has quality time with me. When she has gone to bed, then MyLot comes into picture.

Ive got the exact same problem. I have a seven month old son so I get very little time during the day to post so at noght when my partner is home to help take care of our child (and he is usually asleep that is- my son) I try to do a bit of "work" on here so to speak. Thus far I am averaging a total of ten posts a day as he whinges so much I end up getting off. I'm starting to resent the fact that he doesnt see this as a help. We desperately need money, and every cent or two counts at the moment. I kinda see his point- he is working seven days a week trying to bring home some more money so we hardly get to see each other as it is. maybe I need to make hima mylot addict too...

ok i'm not married but my mom keeps bugging me.. i'm like ALWAYS online since i've 'discovered' mylot... and she's always wanting to talk/eat together.. but i'm glued to the comp as soon as i'm back from office. so i guess if i was married it would surely cause some hassles.. you are right mylot IS an addiction !

I am definitely getting addicted to mylot, but it is a controlled addiction. I come on here when my husband is at work and my daughter is at school. WHen they get home the computer goes off until they both go to bed which is always at least 3 hours before I go to bed. So once they go to bed I'm back on and hving fun. If I did come on here when my husband was home and awake he would get really annoyed, so would my daughter, which is why I work it out so I can get my mylot dose of the day without upsetting my family.

How much time are you spending? How much money are you earning? What then is the hourly rate? I'm not sure, but in my locale there are better easier ways to make cash. So for me, myLot is fun to play on but it isn't a reasonable source of money (especially if it is to the point where my spouse thinks there is a problem). Oh well though. There are probably tons of single people on myLot if things don't work out with the hubby. Have fun, hopefully your earnings get you where you need to be. : )

Same thing with me. I'm trying to earn a little bit of money to help us along and to them it's a waste of time. (I do surveys too) The only thing is that when my husband is deployed and money is tight (like if I buy something we'll go under), my survey money is what buys the girls and I what we need. Need, not want.

My hubby gets anoyed about all the time I spend on it. But, he knows I am trying to help out, so he forgives me.:)

Well, i m not married so i dont have any such probelms. ha ha ha. I do agree that mylot is addictive and its fun to earn here.

maybe its just a matter of "time management"..learn to divide your time..to mylot and especially your family. remember youre doing this to earn more "for your family" so spend more time to them. Also the best thing you could do is to get involve your husband also in what youre doing, so that he will understand you more. Mylot is here to help us earn and not as a culprit in broken marriages..

Well I am not married yet. But even my mother was complaing about this yesterday. I am a little addicted I guess. I am having so much of fun here. But I am sure when we buy gifts for them from the money we earn here they will all be okay..what say?

i think i spent a little bit too much time in here than i suppose too. It is a very time consuming process in order to have good earning in here. I am only gonna be posting in here when i have extra time and try not to effect my regular activities.

I can see myself ending up in this situation, yes. I'll try and be a good housewife and take five minutes out tomorrow to cook beans on toast. That should keep them all quiet here for a while. They like to be fed. :D

I think this is big problem. yes, you can earn some money, but how much? ten bucks? twenty bucks? I think the earning doesnt make any difference. if you posting in your free time, ok, no problem, but, you cant ignore you family and earn some pennys, that's not worth it. I like surfing internet, but if my family or friends need me, I'll leave my PC and go to them .

Hasn't affected mine. I get on here when he is in one of his metal detecting or fishing forums or if he is searching e-bay. If he is watching football or something I'll hop on as well but if he says hey babe lets go somewhere or come watch this show or movie with me...no prob. now if this would of been 7 or more years ago there would have been a prob because I was addicted to the internet...lol but now no. There has been days where I don't get near the computer because we are out doing stuff together so take or leave
