I found some interesting information regarding the condition of your babies head when he/she is born.
Caput Head: Occurs when fluid is squeezed into your infants head during labor and delivery. Having said this, your babies head will have swelling on the top or even all around his/her scalp if they are born with a caput shape.
Goose Egg : You will feel a goose egg on the infants head which is caused by the breakage of tiny blood vessels under the scalp during labor.
Molding: This occurs when the skull bones of your infants head move during labor and delivery, giving the babies head a long and narrow look.
If you want to read more about your newborns appearance in general, you can read about it here:

Did any of your kids have these conditions when born? Did it alarm you at all or were you already aware of these "head conditions".

My daughter didn't have any of those conditions, thankfully. And I didn't know this before she came along.

My daughter's head was pretty normally shaped, but she had a big "hicky" on top because she had to be vacuum extracted. It went away over time.
