How hard is it to hold onto your dreams?

In the words of Paul Simon: "Hang on to your hopes, my friend that's an easy thing to say but if your hopes should pass way, then simply pretend that you can build them again."

I'd have to say that would depend on how bad you want to hang onto them and the circumstances surrounding your life. If you want the dream bad enough, you'll get it eventually...after a ton of hard work, more than likely.

It's not really a dream you want so bad if you let it slip away. I hold on strong to my dreams and do whatever I can to make them come true, even if I fail a couple times. It just motivates me to try harder and make things better.

i think reality and life in general acts to castrate us of our dreams we have to constantly chase other dreams and make them do until the next slap in the face takes them away again
