My Aunt was diagnosed with a rare cancer September of 2005 she tried to take medications that was a trial thing and the pain it caused was to much for her to handle. She decided to live out her life as pain free as possible and keep her dignity as she put it. She was ready to die and had the time to tell all her family how much she loved them all and we reminised of the good and bad times we had together. She passed away as the trooper she had always been on March 23, 2006. She passed at the age of 55. We miss her dearly and we are still dealing with our loss. Now the hardest part is a week ago we found out her husband, my Uncle now has the same cancer as she had. He is going into surgery on the 20th tomorrow to have his kidney removed. We are praying that is has not spread and that he will be cancer free after this. We have to live with the fact that it could return at any time if it is all removed with the kidney. How would you deal with knowing you could die from this at any time? To live your life in fear of the Cancer taking your life? How would you deal with talking to someone so close to you after not completely being over the loss of his wife? We will support him no matter what but we are trying to keep him with us as long as possible. Please anyone with some heart felt advice I would appreciate the support of others who may have been or is in the same situation. Thank you!

I'm sorry to hear that and I'm sorry for your loss. My thoughts go out to you and your family. I hope your uncle will get through this. Support him like you said you would.
