bangalore - an alien land for non-karnataka people ?

i have been staying here since last 4 n half years... i hav tried a lot to accept this city as my city... but the localites always remind me tht i m a out sider. there rude behaviour , impatience toward me , urge to harrash me anyhow ... these all make me feel like i m not in india... m somewhr in an alien land where indians are considered as enemies or outcast people.... i knw many ppl from other states go thru such experince everyday... but why such behaviour ??
