science fair projects on lice

I was told just recently that Best Foods Mayonnaise is the best most effective way to kill lice. I have no idea why and for reason Best Foods is the only brand that works..Something about the ingredients. I haven't tried it personally, but I have a friend that swears she tried everything else on the market and that her pharmacy was the one who told her about it. She used it on herself and her mom. You have to leave it in overnight and she said it felt really gross, but hey if it works! If it does work it would make for a really cool science fair project.
