Have you experienced side effects from taking The Pill?

I'm curious as to what side effects people may have suffered while on the pill.
I suffered from severe weight gain. I gained around 10 kilos in the few months I was taking it. The doctor said this is normal, and happens to some people when exposed to the hormones initially. The weight was easy to come off with excercise and I haven't experienced any more unexplained weight gain since then.
Have you experienced that, or any other side effects while taking the pill? Did you stop taking them or continue to use them?

When I was taking the pill I did gain weight and also felt very bloated and sick. Eventually I did stop taking them because of the side effects.

No I havent from the pill (was hopeless in taking them on time) but I had the same effect from Depo(injection). I too gained (I think it was actually over)10 kilos in a few months. I did the same as you and exercised it off, when I was ready to have kids I went off the Depo. and wah la... one child!
