Do you want to be a ChaCha guide?

Maybe you have heard about ChaCha.com recently. We have lots of guides that use MyLot and now most of those guides have invites to invite YOU to become a guide. This discussion is for guides who have invitations that they are looking to give out and for those who want to become guides. Guides, feel free to post your information. If you want to become a guide, here is what I suggest...
Go to www.chacha.com. Type in something to search for in the search box (try something that interest you). Hit "Search with a Guide". Let the guide help you find some information. If you became a guide you would be the person on the other end helping the InfoSeeker seek out that information they are looking for! The pay ranges from $5 to $10 an hour and you can eventually begin your own network just like the guides who are posting here!
If you are interested in becoming a guide, after trying a search or two, post a response to this discussion. That way guides who are interested can add you as a friend and contact you. Be watching your myLot friends list for a friend add so that we can send you the information you need to get started with ChaCha quickly!

I'm interested in ChaCha, and as long as it is legitimate and the compensation is worth my time and effort, you can be sure I'll put in that time and effort. I have a few questions though. By signing up through your invite, can I become a guide, or do I have to wait? How do they pay? Have you been paid?
Now I am also an equal opportunity online money maker. So, would you be interested in joining a legitimate Survey company, that is free to join and has been paying me for 2+ years, almost $400 now. Basically, I help you make money, you help me make money.

Ok, thanks. I'm sending you an e-mail right now. But can you also answer the questions I had about ChaCha in my original post. My main concern is, is there an application and approval process even if I sign up through your invite? I just get this feeling I am going to have to jump through hoops just to get to the point where I actually can earn anything. My other concerns are how they pay and have you been paid?

I wanna make a few questions before I'll ask for an invite. I hope someone can respond me.
Is the invite system a referral system? In poor words, once I'm a guide do I gain something from people who's invited there from me?
Well, then...I've heard some time ago about a limitation on nationilities. Can I be a guid if I am Italian? Will they pay me?
Yet, has someone of you ever been paid? Do they pay on PayPal, eGold, or what? And does someone of you know the exact earning system?
Last one, but I think the response is just obvious. As a guide, I can give to seekers websites from everywhere, right? Or I can use solely chacha internal search engine?

Let's see. You earn $5-10 per hour without having to refer anyone. As a reward for reaching the "Master" level of knowing your keywords, you are allowed to add eight people to your "network". You earn 10% of what they earn but you do not have to recruit anyone if you do not want to and can only do it once you reach a certain level. If I invite you, I will gladly do anything I can including passing on some hints and sites that have helped me reach Master level. I will be available by email and sometimes Yahoo messenger. I obviously want guides in my network to succeed so I will work one on one if you need to see that you achieve Master status. I cannot guarantee the same of others (my sponsor did nothing for me). As for Italian, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States. I have been paid twice. You get paid anytime you have a balance due you by pressing a "Pay Me Now" button which is linked to your bank account or a ChaCha debit card that the company has available to guides. The payment to the debit card is instant. You can use what ever resources you would like but you will find that the chacha search engine and dogpile probably will give the best results without the fluff. The earning system is a bit difficult and I will post another comment with more.

Well, theorycalli I could work in the States 'cause Italy has no politic problems with America, if it's what they mean by that. Or do I need something like certificates? (don't think so, right?)
I'm really interested, but until the 8th of January I have really no time to apply. I want to ask you a question. If I do receive an invite now from you, can I accept it on january, or does it have an expire date?

So they pay on credit/debit card or by their card; no PayPal then?

nvm, I had searched the site, and they just gave me the link to just sign up. So I'm am now just waiting for a reply back. I recieved an email with some questions, and now after answering, im waiting either for a reply back, or someone to instant message me.

I would definitely be interested in becoming a guide. I am a freelance writer, I do lots of research online, and I am familiar with keywords and utilizing them effectively.

For those of you who use Mac OS X (like me) you're out of luck unless you want to run your Mac in Lobotomy mode! They say there will be a Mac OS X version of the guide app. soon but until then....
Thanks for sending me the invite. I should have asked about system requirements before you sent it to me! I'm sorry I didn't think of that sooner but it might be something for you to ask people before sending invitations to them. :)

ChaCha is awesome! When I was done with training I made over $15 in my first day! I just do mylot in between searches. I have 6 invites left if anyone is seriously interested!

I think this ChaCha thing is a great idea for a little extra money,are there internet requirements?would I be able to do this with dial-up? and do you put alot
