debit card and pre paid credit card !

what is the difference between debit crad and prepaid credit card ???? arent they same thing wid different name ?? i hav no idea abt it. yesterday i noticed a discussion on over pre paid credit card . can u please help me to knw abt it ?

I'm not sure what a prepaid credit card is...is that where you can spend the money you have paid into the account? Anyway...a debit card is your "check-cashing" card, but it can be used as a credit card. The difference...if you use is as a debit card...the money is immediately taken out of your account electronically. If you use it as a credit care, it has to go through the longer process of being turned in by the merchant and then taken out of your account.
