Mineral Make Up

Has anyone tried mineral make up? It's meant to be better for your skin because it doesn't contain chemicals. Tell me what you think about it and which brands you'd recommend.

I was very skeptical at first. Mainly because I am such a sucker for infomercials and mineral makeup is HOT on the infomercials and home shopping networks! I have to be very careful not to get sucked into those things. LOL! I researched it a bit and found a website where not only is the makeup very inexpensive to begin with, but you can also sign up for FREE as a "consultant." Even if you never do anything with it, you get a discount. There are no quotas or anything. They even give you a free website to promote it. You can have parties and whatnot and earn free makeup if you want. Besides being incredibly affordable (just $8/jar BEFORE the discount!), it also does not contain the bismuth oxychloride that many other mineral foundations have and people are becoming sensitive to. Give it a look: www.mineralgirlz.com/members/chicospagal

I would highly recommend babydoll mmu, tried and tested. Doesn't give any breakouts. Instead, adds more glow to my face=)

They say that the big name mineral makeup brands do have harmful chemicals. Bismuth or something like that. Anyway it is supposed to be bad for you. I bought some handmade variety off of ebay that is completely all natural and it is really nice. It is called Mineral Basics and is made in US by some new age people.... heh It really feels nice and there is no weight to it. I got the starter kit and every bit of it was worth it.... and it was very inexpensive.
