Some say love is a river (according to the old song). What do you say love is?

Love is a backrub. Love is soup when you are sick. Love is give and take. Meeting halfway. Love is unpleasant things as well as pleasant. Love is sacrifice. Love is trust. Love is giving all of yourself to someone. Love is happy and sad. Love is blind yet all seeing.

Love is all of those little things that my husband does for me. He's never been demonstrative or even very affectionate. When I was younger, I judged him for this and because I thought he didn't love me or show his love. He gets off earlier than I do, and always stops in to say hi at my work and bring me a coke. That is sweet. And he always liked to cook, so he cooks all of the meals and has one waiting for me when I get home from work. Just last night, I went to fill up my water filter container in the fridge. It holds a couple of pitchers full of water that I use to fill up the ice trays with. I don't like the taste of our local water, so use this water filter container. Anyway, I remembered I had left it pretty empty that morning when I left the house, so filled up a pitcher of water from the sink and went to pour it into the container in the fridge, and he had already done it for me. Sounds minor I know, but it was sweet, and it is something only I use...he doesn't use it, so it was nice to find that he had filled it for me. It is those little unexpected things you find in your everyday life that are special.

We all want to fall in love. Why? Because that experience makes us feel completely alive. Whereevery sense is heightened, every emotion is magnified, our everyday reality is shattered and we areflying into the heavens. It may only last a moment, an hour, an afternoon. But that doesn't diminish its value. Because we are left with memories that we treasure for the rest of our lives
In Love, think things first over if you're sure about how you feel. Don't fall too hard not knowing where you will stand, 'coz it will hurt real bad if things don't go the way you want them to be.

Well, there is no way I can keep up with Zukepr. But here are a few more.
Love is getting sick because you only cared about making the other better.
Love is supporting each other decisions...even if you do not agree.
Love is faith.
Love is more action than words.
Love is knowing when one needs a hug.
Love is knowing when one needs space.
Love is sticking around even if you don't need to talk.
Love is calling a friend a listening for hours because they need an ear.
Love is crawling out of bed at 3am because your partner heard a noise and can't sleep.
Love is saying sorry with meaning even though it is not necessary.
