Kabbalah is an aspect of Jewish mysticism. It consists of a large body of speculation on the nature of divinity, the creation, the origin and fate of the soul, and the role of human beings. It consists also of meditative, devotional, mystical and magical practices which were taught only to a select few and for this reason Kabbalah is regarded as an esoteric offshoot of Judaism. Some aspects of Kabbalah have been studied and used by non-Jews for several hundred years

I've vaguely heard about it. Something about jewish mysticism but that's all I know about it. I would be interested in learning more about it.

Kabbalah is on Jewish studies of Mystisyim. If I go into full details of explaining it, it will take a real long time. You learn Kabbalah with a Rabbi who pretty much knows his stuff. There is a web site I could give you where you could get in contact with a rabbi to learn Kabbalah:

well, the kabbalah itself is pretty old fashioned, 13th century, or therabouts, and dion fortune late 19th century, yes, maybe old fashioned, to u, but in truth the wisdoms within it are the same now as they were then... it was a metaphysical treatise, a way to become closer to god, to realise god, it wasn't an almanac, or a coded prophesy, or a workbook that u could plan ur life by.... has anyone used the kabbalah in a practical sense... yes... I have, actually, I used it to help me realise the "flashing keys" of Kether in the four realms, lol...

Kabbalah in simple words is an ancient piece of mystical practice (magic). It was first used by the ancient egyptians later on Jews started using it but now a days a typical sect (cross breed of Jewish Beleives and Christians Beleives) known as The Freemasons or The Knights of the White Temple are the known persons which are practicing it or using it in different ways. As far as I know it can also be used for creating illusions.
