Win98 / WinXP or Linux / MacOS?

linux because it is virus free os

I use SuSe Linux ........I simply love it !!!!!!

In ther first one i would choose windows xp..........and in the second one i would choose linux........if you ask what i will choose if i am aske d windows xp/linux then i would say linux...........linux is more secure than other operating system which you have mentioned here........

I think the best operating system is MAC OS X now, but as I can't install it on my pc my choice is of course Linux: I choose Mandriva 2007.1 Spring Edition distribution and I am very happy with that. Linux is a great operating system, it is free and virus free, stable, fast and easy to use. However, I rarely use Windows XP esclusivelly for videogames and some software that hasn't an alternative in Linux.

i will pick winXP is very good and userfreindly.

for me its winXP XP was a major upgrade to the client version of Windows 2000 with numerous changes to the user interface. XP improved support for gaming, digital photography, instant messaging, wireless networking and sharing connections to the Internet. It also added a personal firewall. Although XP is a client operating system, it can also function as a server.

I tend to lean towards linux for server security, but gaming it has to be windows xp.

My pick is Linux. Gentoo Linux. Its really flexible.
