With only a few days left before Christmas I am finding myself way behind schedule again. This is mainly to do with the fact that I spend way to much time procrastinating on things I know need to be done, but find a hundred other things to do besides what really needs to be don. How about you. Are you are procrastinator?

I am defintly a procrastinator. I am however getting a lot better. I am not bad with things I like to do. For example the christmas shopping has been done for a month because I love to shop so I made time. However I am horrible when it comes to things I do not want to do. I wait till the last minute to do school work, house work and anything else. I get so behind on important things. I can defintly relate with you.

A procrastinator I could never call myself, I always start ahead of time but not as bad as a friend of mine, I took her shopping last week and she bought a couple of things on special to give as presents for next Cheistmas already...now that good stuff...

Very much so, and it makes me crazy. I guess though that some of the procrastination is because I cannot do what I really want to do. And I have no money. What causes you to procrastinate? I also tell my husband that I have a great fear of succeeding.

Such good questions you raise here GG. I can't seem to put a finger on why I procrastinate. Money is a problem too, but it isn't the root of the problem. Maybe you are correct, it could be the fear of success....or maybe the fear of trying so hard only to fail. Who knows.

For some things I am but for some things I'm not. When it comes to cleaning I'm a huge procrastinator but when it comes to something like homework I try to get it done asap!

I am a procrastinator when it comes to wrapping! LOL I don't know why. I don't mind wrapping. I can make the presents look really pretty...but I just don't get to it until the last couple days. Then it becomes a rush and a dragging my feet because I now know that I HAVE to do it. LOL But I am not a procrastinator...so I don't know why I do this every year. LOL

I am definatley not a procrastinator! When I have something to get done...I just want to get it over with and not have to rush! And since I don't procrastinate, I have more to time to relax, make something looked better, etc. :D

I am glad someone else has the same middle name as me. I am also glad to hear I am not alone. This year I have been terrible at putting things off, but have promised myself next year will be different. Time will tell. Seriously I am going to try hard.

Oh yes I am a procrastinator to the fullest sense of the word. I usually work best under pressure, and its ussually very last minute response. I would know of a task at hand, but then I would rather find a interesting program on TV or replant a shrub in the garden to a different position, and before I know it the day has gone. I am sometimes so angy with myself for this behaviour! On the other hand give me a task to do with a 2 hour dealine and I would focus on that task 110% and complete it with so much detail and dedication that you would not believe it. I am seriously working on my procrastination tendencies!

Nope I'm not one..I really like things done according to plan and I have everything planned much in advance. I'm very organised so I'm nowhere near being a procastinator. If I make up my mind something has to be done, then its definitely done and not put off.

I am a procrastinator to a point, but I also work well up against a deadline so I tend to fritter away my time for a while then leap into action and get loads done just when I think its all going to go pearshaped.

I'm not a procrastinator but some of my clients are...
It absolutely boggles my mind when they call me at the last possible moment and tell me that they need something done in the next ten minutes, when they know perfectly well that the task could have been done two weeks ago!
Oddly, most of them think that they are saving money somehow with this method but they are not...
I charge them more for making me rush! :)

I am a major procrastinator. I finished my term paper and philosophy journal the night before they were due. I started them only a few days before. It's terrible... but I do the same thing every semester... I alway say I'm going to start them as soon as the assignment is given but there is always something better to do.

I reached the point today where I was so stressed with xmas shopping that I would have brought any old junk just to get it over with faster! Decided that would be a good time to stop so will go back tomorrow to finish it. Procrastinator is a funny word, it just doesn't sound like what it means, it sounds all purposeful and forceful! It ought to be fuffler or something, just more vague and unsure sounding!
