I do. If the pitching staff lives to the promises we shall repeat. Wickman, Soriano, and Sturze are a vast
improvement from Reitsma and Company. Hudson still a puzzle to me. Hampton will make us or destroy us. Hopefully he will be as new.

2006 was an aberration, a blimp on the radar. with john smoltz and tim hudson and with mike hampton healthy all year, the braves would win their division again. this is the only team in pro sports to win 14 straight division titles and they are led by the incomparable bobby cox. its just too bad they don't have marcus giles and they failed to sign tom glavine. but they would compete and they would win their division next year.

i think that if they get the right players and Spring Training goes well, we can see them have another streak.

Gosh I hope so. I was pulling for them all the way. I think they lost several players that were entirely to good to let go. Everyone thinks Chipper Jones is the one who carries that team but we all have to remember that it is a team effort and I believe that is exactly what Chipper has said several times. I will be watching every game I can and we usually go to several during their home games. I still think The Atlanta Braves are the greatest and I do like Bobby Cox. I know that they will be trying to win their division. Losing for the first time in 14 years hurt the players and all us fans.

I do. About starting another streak, it remains to be seen. Budget restraints make a repeat hard to come by.

Yes, they will win it and start another long streak. They scored more runs than just about anybody last season but saw late inning leads blown night after night by the bullpen. That won't happen this year, with the horses they've brought in. And look for Scott Thorman and Kelly Johnson to blend in perfectly under the tutelage of the great Bobby Cox. You've got Chipper and Andruw, plus Jeff and Brian McCann are only getting better. Watch out Mets!
