Chipper smacked two homers last night and now has 372 for his career. At 35, he is well within striking distance of 500. Can he make it? He seems on fire since his run-in with John Smoltz--think that kinda inspired him?

murrdog Yes, he must stay healthy. Assuming he does, the Braves are going to make a strong run at the Mets-hope they can add some help before the trading deadline!

murrdog Yes, gotta bring Traveler back for a full season next fall--many unanswered questions left. I can't believe the FBI special agent in charge was in on it, I never saw that coming. I can't wait to see him get what's coming to him. An awesome show last night.

murrdog Smoltz made an insinuation to the media that Chipper was not hurting as bad as it appeared, or not bad enough to be missing games. He denied he meant anything by it, but Chipper definitely took offense. I don't think anybody has ever questioned his heart, but...

murrdog Maria is a much better athlete and tennis player, much taller and faster. Serena is very strong however and can overpower anybody when she is healthy and on her game. I'd like to see a rematch at Wimbledon and ssee Maria turn the tables on Serena!
