i will agree if u have ever heard of some northern Pakistani instruments some r like a xylophone, like a guitar n some like a violen n not to forget the sitar & the tabla but the most beautiful n heart touching sad sound would be of the flute, it originated here in the Punjab & the indus valley

To me the violin is the sweetest sounding. The guitar is the most versatile. The harp is the most beautiful. The drums are the most emotional.

For me the music played by the violin is considered to be the most beautiful sounding instrument in the world. The chinese musical instrument "erhu" has the similar beautiful sound too. I like music play by both violin and erhu.
