Specific beautiful flowers are chosen as their national flower.
China has not yet decided its national flowers, there are some suggestions:Peony, plum blossom, lotus and chinese rose.
Possibly peony and plum will be chosen as China's National Flowers.
How about yours?

India's National Flower is the Lotus. Lotus symbolizes purity, beauty, majesty, grace, fertility, wealth, richness, knowledge and serenity. They are found in white and pink colors in general and they grow in shallow and murky waters. Some blue colored flowers are also sighted. These flowers enjoy a warm sunlight and intolerant to cold weather. Hence they cannot be seen blossoming in the winter. The floating leaves and flowers have long stems, which contains air spaces to maintain buoyancy.
The plant is having various uniqueness attached to it. Though the large leaves of the plant are floating on the surface of the water, even a drop of water is not accommodated on top of the leaves. Perhaps, they are teaching the human beings, to lead a life of non-attachment and avoid the worldly pleasures.

I live in the Philippines and our national flower is "Sampaguita" its a tiny white flower with a very sweet smelling fragrance in a shrub and it is called labor of love because it is hard to make one living..

MALAYSIA's national flower is the hibiscus, or the bunga raya. I think lotus would be more suitable as China's national flower, it is strong and beautiful, and all parts of it is useful.
