Wow, I haven't heard about him in several years. I started listening to mostly christian music several years ago, but Phil Collins was one of my very favorites! I loved his music and loved him with Genesis too. But most of the music I knew was in the late 80's and early 90's. Great songwriter!

I love his music, Genesis or no Genesis. But, I prefer his older music than to recent. One thing I know is there is a Genesis reunion tour going on in Europe and if it doesn't swing on over to the U.S.A I will certainly cry many tears. Phil Collins/Genesis is first on my list of bands to see in my lifetime.

Saw Genesis @ 'Old Trafford' UK in Manchester in July...Phil should give up his MOR solo rubbish he's been churning out these last 10 years and get make to making real music with those guys.

I have no idea that he is with Genesis, and Phil Collins did great when he is a solo artist, so i prefer him to be on solo.

It's basically the same to me. Any song associated with Phil Collins
Is Awsome. :D

Although I love the Band Genesis, I prefer Phil as a solo artist. He has so much talent to offer the music lovers in the world. He has some utterly amazing romantic songs that make a person want to cry, and others that make you want to party your butt off. I love his music more and more all the time.

Phil Collins is awesome with or without Genesis.
I saw him in concert on his "No Jacket Required" tour.
The dude is a one man band all by himself!
To me, the Face Value CD is still his best.
He basically put his heart, mind and soul into
every song on that CD.

Well, I definitely love both. Genesis is good. But I do prefer Phil Collins by himself as a solo artist. He has some amazing songs! :)
