How to earn more on MyLot?

Well, i've been registered on MyLot for 3 weeks, and i've already met some very good people, who have shared several tips with me on how to make a little more money than i usually did, and i thought i could share it with everybody else.
These are just some basic guidelines:
- never post short yes/no answers in a discussion, because you will receive very little money.
- never post irelevant answers to the given topic (don't talk about horror movies in a comedy topic :)) )
- always try to give a longer answer, the longer and the more relevant to the topic it is, the more money you will receive. generally, try to answer in over 3 lines, you will get 3 or 4 times more revenue than from a 1 line asnwer.
- always try to upload a relevant photo when you leave a comment, it brings in extra revenue
- try to come up with interesting discussion topics, that will bring in lots of responses, and try not to imitate other people's topics just for the sake of getting answers. be original and you will get answers.
I think that's about it, and i also hope that you'll find my post useful. And, if anybody else knows some tips&tricks that i don't know of, i kindly ask him to share them with me and everybody else.

I agree these seems like some good guidelines for earning responsibly on MyLot. But now with the new rules on MyLot that severly hampers fast posting for users with a rating below 500, it really becomes even more difficult to start earning alot from the start. I used to post pictures alot, from my own digital photography, and although you dont get pais THAT much, that priviledge has now been taken away from the below 500 users. Ouch, now I have to type even faster! Hehehe

yes, this rule can be seen as a minor setback. but, on the other hand, it is ultimately a very good way to encourage the development of the MyLot community, to make people be more determined in reaching this 500 rating. And, it's also a good way to start getting rid of spammers and of people who simply copy answers from other user's posts. this is my opinion.

Whoa, I just realized that I can't post pictures anymore. I wonder why they made the rule to limit users with a rating of below 500 to not post pictures. Does anyone know why?

Understandably, I guess they want to make sure that their bandwith doesn't get overloaded, or their servers get over stuffed. It makes sense, I guess, pictures do take up a good bit of space. I guess this is the fairest way to cut down on bandwith use and the eating of hardrive space. Also they don't want to waste space on junk content, so they figure anyone who's racked up 500 posts on this site is not neccissarily in it for the money, and will post valuable, high quality content.

I had heard that the best way to make a lot of money on MyLot was to get a lot of referrals. But unfortunately none of mine have panned out...

hello there..most of what u have said is correct and the basic way to earn more here..that combined with the time u spend here would give u the kind of result u expect..as u bring very clearly in ur post that the nothing would subsitute quality and ensure that even if u make fewer replies..it ok but try to ensure that they are all good..another way would be to post pictures and start discussion under ur interests..keep enjoying ur time here..

thanks for the tips but its not just the end of it. its not only the responsibility of the poster but also the responsibility of the discussion starter to read all responses to his post and rate them.

Thank you clarifying some points which might bring us more money in mylot.com. It's an awesome website giving its members the power to practice writing and also educating us in many ways. I knew some how to make money online through this website only. Besides it has many great topics that will keep us sticking on the chair all day and night. Your tips prompted me to write more which will bring me more money. So thank you.

I do not think we should have only the airm of making money from this site. This types of forums help you to think, write correctly, understand other people all over the world and even make friends with them. This will definitely help us to improve ourselves in clear thinking. With the intention of acquiring all these aims in mind you should try to gain more money according to your capacity. While writing replies write clear,correct,precise and attractive sentences which people like to read. So have the aim of not only gaining money but also gaining many other aims of coming in this forum.

I really highly agree with what all you have said I also try that for as long as I can for me not to loose my earnings and to earn more however I'm still not satisfied with what I'm earning and hoping for more information to earn more. Thanks.

thanx a lot for sharing all these tips with us. I am a myLot member since last month, got last month's earnings also. Yes, ur tips r veri useful for novices and surely there has a set back for all with rating less than 500 but i think it's a way to encourage ppl to reach to that stage very fast. Once agian ..............thanx

tanks for the advice... i had been here only few days before and really struggling hard to improve my earnings.but im sure now that wit ur advice i can do better.... and about photos ... is tere any other way of earning rather than jus posting a appropriate pic to a discussion.....?

Is good that you started this discussion, I know a metod to make more money on mylot, I earned $4.26 just in one day for uploading photos for interes,more photos for interest - more money.This would be useful.Good luck

well you have to post pictures that relate to the content, for example if there's a post about horses, you post a picture with horses. If you're opening a discussion about o rock band, you can post a picture with them. hope you've understood my explanations

Thank you very much for the tips on how to make money on this site,I was wondering what I could do to better mu eraning on here,before I started to tell everyone about it.I want to tell my friends and relatives about it.But I first want to make sure that it is tested and proven.so that I can tell them that I know for sure.thank you very much for this discussion,it was very beneficial to me.
